So I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a davidsen 240 titanium, but I have a question about the date window on PAMs. Does the mag lens sit on the top of the crystal or on the inside? Like, is it totally smooth on top, or is the mag lens more like on rolexes where it's raised? Also, anyone have anything good/bad to say about these guys? I want to buy a really good PAM and I'm not gonna worry about modding it, nor do I want to pay the price for a modded one, i just want a really good one out of the box w/ great lume etc. Any suggestions?

The cyclops is on the bottom side of the crystal, not topside like Rolex.
Tread carefully with DSN. He has had a lot of quality control issues lately. If you get the date magnification and the date font correct, the auto PAMs can be some of the most accurate PAM reps out there.

I had heard about his qc issues, although I was under the impression that he was remedying this (and at the very least will make good on a qc issue). That said, I prefer to mess around as little as possible, which is why I barely ever buy from any of the dealers here. I usually just buy FS threads because at least there I can see what I'm getting, and it gets here a hell of a lot quicker. So I dunno, has Davidsen been that bad lately? I'd much rather buy from another member, but every PAM that comes up is super modded and thus super expensive. I just want something that looks pretty damn close (my other watches are SOSF, HBB, and UPO w/ gen hands) and is reasonably priced. Any ideas?
