I heard from someone who heard from someone who heard from another forum that there is a correct font datewheel for 44mm PAM's.

1. Is this true?
2. If so, can this fit my PAM063? (below)

the new subs have a pretty darn good date wheel in it, pretty sure it should swap into any 7750.

ironically, I am not thrilled with the way the date magnifies on my gen.

the thing is that this thing has 2826 in it, not 7750.

Wonder if it works tho'

True,,,, when I got my first gen auto pam (104) I was expecting the date to show just like on my gen rollies, but it doesnt, and I guess it's obvious due to the different placement of the mag bubble in pams vs rollies, but still it looks odd, just a little small or just not right in my eyes on the gen auto pam...

Maybe I'm just to used to the rollie mag, and pams are just different

Ok I'm over it now.... :D

yes... there is a datewheel that is correct for the 63... it is about $100... and you can contact finepics on RWG for it... good luck though because i tried for 3 weeks to send him a pm and his box was always full... even though he was logging on daily...

my question for you is where did you get your bracelet? my bracelet won't fit my 63... but it fits my 111 and 005...

It's from Silix. I'll sell it to you or trade for leather strap with Pre-V Pan logo if interested. I'm back in the leather bandwagon now.

Thsi watch comes with the GMT modified 2836 which isn't so robust. The more expensive 2893 based GMT 063 has a more reliable GMT movement. I'm getting ready to swap movements.

Lello has the correct datewheel for sale, which will probably swap into the 2836 as long as the teeth on the datewheel are recessed. Chieftang sold me some AWESOME cyclops to complete the mag package.

A Palp auto crown is the only other mod that could be done and there you have it. One of the most accurate REPs in Panerai land.

I orderd a datewheel (as have others) from Finepics and I'm still waiting on mine. That one cost me $90US. Lello has a datewheel for sale which should be similar for much less. I checked with Lello and mine is already on it's way :D

Lello should have them at RWG. I have considered the upgrade for my 063, but passing for now. It's pretty expensive due to the terrible dollar exchange rate, and then you need to get it installed. I can live with my thin date for now... :p

Get the Lello datewheel. Only 25euro, which is his cost. Great deal and well worth the cost. And it shouldn't be a difficult swap. I don't think......
