Hey Jeremy,
As promised, here are my photos (taken wif iPhone) of the strap on my Seiko BFS.
Sorry it took a while longer, I have been busy.
My quick review (and shout-out to Jeremy):
- The strap was beautifully custom-made for me by Jeremy, who was very accomodating in meeting my requests. Great comms throughout.
- As you can see, Jeremy took the effort of supplying 3 floating keepers, one to match the stitch, the second to match the finished sides, and the last to match the hide itself.
- Great job with the dyeing - I love the colour.
- The strap is very comfortable, not at all stiff (which really surprised me given it's a croc). Nice thickness too.
- V. reasonable price given the time and effort by Jeremy in sourcing the hide, matching the colour to my watch dial, and generally entertaining my questions.
- quick and smooth shipping to Singapore.
Slight downer: Barely a day after I started wearing it with the metal buckle, I noticed that the top layer of the strap had been scrapped in 2 places (not in photos).
I believe this was caused by the strap brushing / squeezing against the buckle when I put on and take off the watch. Now, I pay extra care.
Jeremy: any tips on how I can "touch up" these scraps?
Conclusion: Please engage Jeremy to make you a strap, and enjoy the very positive experience I had. This deal restored a big part of my faith, that there are people out there who genuinely believe in their products and in providing great service.
