Cyclops on 063

I love my 063 but want to get two mods done:

1. The cyclops on the date bugs me. It seems to have pretty weak magnification. Does anyone have a good photo of the gen cyclops? Is there a good place to purchase a new crystal and cyclops to better match the gen?

2. The hands are lumed far better than the dial. I'll need to get the dial vaclumed.

3. The bracelet clasp is annoying. From time to time it just comes loose if I flex my wrist. I saw a good post on fixing Omega bracelets that do this. Has anyone had any luck doing this with the Panerai bracelet?

I have a vaclumed 63 (purchased from Boston). The dial was relumed, but alas the amount of lume that could be placed was limited by the GMT hand.

1) You don't really need a new crystal unless you want to upgrade it. You need a new cyclops and a better datewheel. The font on the REP 063 ( and just about all of the auto PAMs) is too thin. Chieftang made some great cyclops and the Finepics datewheel is the nicest one I've seen.

2) The dial will look much nicer with a Superlume, but it won't have the "glow" power of a sandwich dial PAM.

3) Get a nice leather strap. I have several of the deployant clasps. Most of them work well, but some won't tighten and some loosen. But I've never had a tang buckle loosen on a leather strap :lol:

Very nice lysis. Any idea where to get the correct cyclops and datewheel? Your 063 is stunning.
