CWC G10 British military issue

picked up a CWC G10 British military watch issued in 1997 for £95

it’s a fantastic 36mm Swiss Quartz with a great heritage for the price

Fixed lug bars and acrylic glass adds to the charm of it

19mm lug width but these were supplied with 18mm nato straps but you can fit a 20mm on there

Congrats! These are great looking watches and can take a lot of abuse. Prices have gone up on these in the last year or so. Yours is a “W10” so one issued to the army. Enjoy, and wear it in good health.

I would if preferred a Royal Navy issue due to my grandad serving for them but I settled for the Army issued

And your right prices are hiking up quite a bit !!

You’re welcome. From what I understand, RN and RAF tend to be rare but more likely to be in better condition than the army ones. Yours is in excellent condition so should you find a Navy issue one, an exchange may not be too expensive should you decide to go that route.
