The overall idea with this build was to keep the dystopian theme of the 1412, but to demilitarize it (i.e. remove all references to the navy seals). In the end, the caseback retained the military theme, but with a twist...
It turns out Belkin had to go through many hoops to get this build done, several of which I wasn't even aware of until afterwards. These hoops include, but are not limited to, significantly modding the movement (0.7mm thinned, date module removed), manufacturing of a custom backplate with properly placed dial feet, a custom set of hands, and using welding to turn a display caseback into a closed one.
So yeah, what else can I say -- I am honored and humbled to be the current caretaker of this watch. My jaw drops every time I look at it on my wrist.
