Up for grabs today (and I promise I'll keep it up for sale this time) is a rather rare and stunning, 116508 TBR with the Tahitian MoP dial and YG leaf sub-dials.
This is an "off-catalogue" reference from Rolex and a build you do not see very often. It's certainly an eye-catcher and one that requires an "I don't give a fuck" attitude when you wear it.
Aside from its, on the face of things, very brash appearance, I find this to be an incredibly beautiful and elegant watch. In outdoor lighting, the sine and sparkle of the moissanite bezel, coupled with the complex and ever-changing dial, you have a stunning watch that you will not be able to take your eyes off of.
I've decided that I need to be a little more brutal with my collection, with my wedding just around the corner and a new PC build in full swing, I need to cull pieces that simply do not get wrist time, despite how much it pains me.
The condition is identical to when I listed it back in December. Very lightly worn but has not been taken out of the box (aside from taking today's pics) since the previous listings. Might be the odd hairline here and there, but overall the watch is in very good condition. Additionally, the BTF base was purchased after they improved their YG plating tone, when I built this I had intended to have it YG wrapped/plated but the stock colour was so nice that I decided it wasn't worth it.

SW tahitian MoP dial - $275 ~ £219
Moissanite bezel - $308 ~ £246

Total cost = £1036
I then sold the spare dial and bezel here for £60 total
Hence, the final build cost = £976
