Hello all, hopefully I can get some constructive advice here for an issue ive got with a custom Daytona I ordered from Chazingtime.
So I received the watch today after a coupe of months from ordering. No problem with waiting as it was a custom order. $970 in value.
However what I received is not a solid stainless cased watch , but a plated watch that is already delaminating right out the box. I can fit a sheet of paper between the plating and the case up by one of the lugs and is only a matter of hours if its worn that it will catch and rip off.
I know these are advertised as 904 L steel and we all know it's not, but should you at least expect a solid case of a less grade of steel and not something plated for this amount of cash?
Everything else with the watch is on point, was extremely happy until I noticed this.
looking back at QC pictures there was a tell tale sign in the corner of one picture but when reviewed 1st time I did not notice and would certainly have not been expected to evaluate by a picture if this is solid or plated crap, should I?
I' ve emailed chasing time and await their response but your feedback and advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
