Hi!

I’ve just bought a pre-owned GEN omega Speedmaster sapphire sandwich with the 3861 movement, it’s definitely genuine but the person who sold it to me had no box, nor papers. He is a watch dealer here in Peru and I’ve already bought some watches from him, he only sells pre-owned gen watches. My question is given that the watch is fairly new (2022) and has METAS certification and 5 years of warranty if it is possible for any dealer here to custom made an Omega warranty card with the serial number and reference of the watch, so that my 5 year international warranty would be valid?

Is it possible to forge a credible warranty card that ADs and boutiques would accept given that the watch is 100% real?

Thank you very much for your answers!

P.S. Here a picture of the watch:

What do you mean? That the AD shouldn’t require the warranty card in order for me to claim the warranty of the watch in case I need it?
I've read conflicting reports online.

Some say you only need proof of purchase of the watch (such as a receipt from an OB or AD - which you don't have since you're the second owner and first owner didn't give it to you). Warranty is transferable apparently but I guess you need the original receipt?
Others say you need the warranty card since it's unique to your watch and Omega will not honor warranty if it isn't COMPLETELY filled (many ADs forget to fill in the date of purchase). I've posted a link below.

No idea who is right. But yeah. Getting a duplicate card probably will not help since I don't think there are cards that are exactly the same as gen?

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me, I do think that maybe just for peace of mind I would like to get a “fake” warranty certificate, I don’t think that’s the AD will inspect it closely but it doesn’t hurts to have it just in case, about the numbers I think I can just them to whoever dealer wants to do the job, I also have a replica Planet Ocean 300M, and it came with a very compelling warranty card, I will inquire further and let you all know.

Bad idea. You shouldnt need a fake card to get your watch fixed and passing it off as gen is dodgy as fuck.

ADs are around real warranty cards all day every day. It seems a bit risky to try and pass off your likely not perfect fake warranty card.
