Custom Daytona 116519 from CTime!

So, after a long time spent choosing the right model and the right dealer, I met CTime and chose to order the Clean Factory Daytona 116519 from them.



However, stock Clean Factory model does not have the meteorite dial as I liked but the gray one, so I had to buy a spare meteorite dial and ask him to modify the watch replacing the gray dial with the new one.

The result should be like this:



The guy from CTime was very kind!!
In a short time we created the order and I made the payment, I was able to pay with PayPal which is really reliable and fast, this is a great advantage instead of other service with high fees or long waiting time.

Now I’m waiting the QC pictures, today is saturday so it could take the entire week.

I’ll keep you updated step by step until the watch arrives, and hope it arrives soon and matches expectations!

Ctime say dial are arriving soon
Maybe I will have new QC pictures of the modded watch

Today C-Time sent me QC pictures of the meteorite dial
I find it very beautiful



Now they will send the watch and the dial to the modded that will change the stock dial with the new one, then my Daytona will be ready to be shipped!!!

If I were you I’d seriously consider switching the crystal to a Deep one as well. It will make it a different watch. The CF crystal isn’t as good. I did it on a CF 116518 and it turned out awesome.

So there is a Deep Factory that makes a good crystals for watches?
If the difference is so much in a better way, maybe I should take directly a gen one

Tomorrow I will have QC of the finished watch
I can think about changing the crystal but first I want to have it on my wrist
Maybe my goal will be to white gold plate the case and the bracelet and change bezel crystal with original ones

There is only ONE BIG PROBLEM that I really can't stand…
The balance wheel is very noisy when it moves, louder than my old Daytona with 7750 movement, even though I was told that in the superclone I wouldn't hear any annoying noise...

The customer service was always quick to respond and always available thanks C-Time!

For the rest there is nothing wrong, it runs smooth as butter and is made very well.
I will look for a solution for the noise hoping there is one
