It needs the AR removed, Flav.

I'll give ya $50 for it.

Why can't he use this printing on the last generation dial with the fat cut-outs? Having a dial like THAT filled would be the ultimate, IMO. Doesn't look like it's gonna happen, though.

It's mine all mine! Love it Flav, you are an artist.

I'm not really bothered what generation dial it is, I liked it before but now it's a hundred times better. The printings nicer on this gen, so it's swings and roundabouts. I would think that 111 dials outsell 201's by at least ten to one so commercially it's a low priority. I think Flav nailed the colour of the nicest gens creamy/biscuit, some look a bit processed cheese.

As for the AR, I imagine a few gens have been AR by now too and as it's functional i'm cool with it.

Now I need to match this beauty to the right strap.

MP XIII "3646" in Tan.

Or the MP "Lorenzo".

If you're gonna go big bucks, one of the PAV straps.

A little more budget minded would be the Toscana Khaki shark straps.

Yes, I support TC Straps.

I also really like the "camel" colored hide that Savage uses:

OR, I'm sure tootall could whip something up for you.

Can you tell I've been virtual shopping for a strap for my soon-to-be-had neo vintage PAM?

Thanks for the suggestions hooligan, you are a strap connoisseur. What's the project you have on the go?

I have a MP XIII in just that colour but it lives with my 082 as the buckle looks quite like Ti. It is slightly glossier than the pic.

I got this in that last Elliot BB, which might be good.

I think the PAV would look way better with that buckle.

Originally I had the 201 mounted on a GeF la spezia congac which might still be worth a try.

I am tempted to get another vintage Simona but they are too expensive, I really like Greg straps too but I think they are best on 47mm or contempory 44mm.

Savage straps look really nice and great value but I have yet to see one in daylight, they always seem to be photographed under bright light and it makes them look a bit dead. I imagine they look fantastic in the flesh though and I need a strap for a new Arktos ult so Iwill email him and ask his advice.

Those straps look great hooligan. I saw the grey one Savage was selling and it looked tasty.

I am really hoping the special edition MP I got in the BB does the trick. Serendipity I feel.

I really liked the 040 dial and an 002 would look great too; both really honest designs. The 040 probably needs the least fiddling with which is another attraction.
An 004 and 009 also appeal for their brutalist simplicity.

Contempory Panerai is nice but Pre V stuff looks so much more soulful, anti commercial and has a real take it or leave it vibe. Functional and modernist, not flash. The best analogy I can give is Levi pre late 50's and post late 50's. The ingredients are the same (denim, thread, rivits), but somehow the marketing men and the bean counters messed with the recipie and something got lost.

Just look at the parts, my hair goes up already. Once you put them together, it is gonna burn. So hot, I can feel. What a luckest man. If you keep that for 5 more months and make it a Chirstmas present. I am sure you can fly.

CONGRATULATION :D :D
