The post office tried to deliver on Sunday to the wrong zip code and thanks to the tracking system I was able to pick it up this morning at the Las vegas Strip Post Office. After tearing open the well wrapped package from Andrew at Trusty, I pulled out of the plastic an amazing looking timepiece. Being familiar with the 7750, I gave it a good twist movement and could not believe how long the winding rotor kept on spinning before it stopped. First time for me with a 7750. It ran like a charm and the rubber strap contoured with the curved steel case makes this one very comfortable watch. I had to admire it for quite awhile before leaving the post office parking lot as it is quite mesmerizing to have this watch on your wrist. I had tried on a couple of gens at the Tourneau, but they were all 43mm and this watch is 46mm which makes it comporable to the fiddy in size, but still larger due to the crown 'trigger'.
The Chrono 'trigger' engager is a great feature and works like a charm. As others have said, this lever is a little bit wobbly, but not much.
It would seem that there is a way to remedy this minor issue, but it does not bother me at all. As far as accuracy goes, it is such a great rep that I don't think anyone could really ever tell the difference. This watch rertails from $5000 to $9000 and in just one day, the comments I have been given about this unique watch helps to make you feel good about the purchase, and knowing what we pay for these high quality reps makes it down right thrilling!
