I know the 127/217 have been getting all the "WTF has happened to the prices?!?!?!?!" press lately. However, some other LE and neo-vintage pieces have come up for sale on the gen fora lately that have left me saying  .

PAM036 - $23,000
PreA PAM001 - $20,000
PreA PAM002 - $28,000
PAM201/A - $35,000
PAM207/A - ~$47,000
PAM202/A - ~$40,000
Wow.

The ones that really surprise me are the PreA stuff. A year or two ago, you could have gotten a 201/A for the price those PreA 001 and 002 watches are listed for. The 036, 082, etc haven't gone up nearly as much in comparison.

Just a random thought for this Friday morning. It's pretty amazing to think that if you'd bought a 201/A in '96 for $3K it'd be worth 10x that now. Pretty decent investment, IMO.

Reaffirms the "PT Barnum axiom"....Why would one pay so much for watch that is very common in construction, and can be duplicated for pennies on the dollar..??
Artificially created "scarcity" is the biggest sucker trap of our times!!
Rolex invented the "grift", and Panerai perfected it!!!

Seen 127s as high as $19,000, but there is currently one on Risiti for $14,500.
The 082 runs about $9000, and there is only 300 of them. Seems like a good price for that.
