Hi guys, been in Selfridges today (London) and I saw this Panerai...very curious isn't it? First time I saw one of these...
It's about 10 cm diameter, really nice bed table clock...

Nice table clock just the price is a bit high. But there is an ongoing promotion at puretime where if you purchase a V6F watch you can purchase this at a discount. :)

I really like it and am planning to buy from pure time once I decide on my next purchase.. I had read somewhere the winding stem is fragile and needs careful winding so it may just end up a pretty decoration [emoji17]

I planend to buy this but a great TD here (Mike) recommended to wait a bit, because a ZF Version is going to be released soon and it has the movement of the 448 inside...that's way better in my opinion...

Why do you think that movement is way better? The power reserve? The v6 I heard had a weird stem problem. What happens if that p5000 movement needs serviced?? Do you think it would be an issue?

Not too practical as a desk clock but still looks cool as just a decoration.

i had no problems with my 448 so far...it works pretty reliable...and yes its because of the pr ... don't want to wind it every two days as it is a desk watch on a desk I am not working on every day...if you got an issue with it you can use it as a (cool looking) paperweight at least ;)

I can confirm power reserve is just under two days and as its wound u can hear and feel a "click" just before it is fully wound. This should stop over winding and snapping the stem. I am currently going to gut mine and put an Angelus 8 day movement in once I figure out the technical details as I have a couple of movements kicking around
