Crystals: DSN vs Others Queston

Question for those in the know...

Is there a difference in the sapphire crystals that DSN uses vs the crystal in other reps?

Is it ture that DSNs are slightly larger? Are the rep crystals real sapphire cyrstals?

i know that certain crystals from Davidsen - do not fit any other Pam rep.

also i know that many exploded non Dvsn Fiddys were refitted with non exploding Dvsn's.

i think there can not a straight statement be made.

I know that vaccum swapped the crystal that came out of my "Davidsen" cased 010D into a standard rep case and he didn't tell me about any issues getting it to fit. I agree with h_u, though, I wouldn't swear that it would work with ANY or EVERY case, though.
