To all the rep Paneristi-
What is the size of the crystal for a 47mm Fiddy?
I found a gen Rolex 24, which is NOS for a mid '40s Radiomir. It is 40.7mm, but I don't know what the rep Fiddy requires.
Thanks for any responses.

DSN's replacement Fiddy crystal is listed at 40mm. This has been used successfully in non-DSN Fiddies, as well, so I think that's the size you're after...

Yep, I would bet that .7mm would make it way too big for your rep Fiddy case.

I've just got a Dsn crystal for my Fiddy which was one of the fiddys which was supposed to be swiss but isnt and supposed to be sapphire but wasnt , I think there was a lot of shit about it at the time, any way my crystal popped and needed replacing so I got one from Dsn, I'm not sure how tight its meant to be going in but I cant get in by hand, I'm going to give it to my watchsmith and ask him to do it, if its too big I think you could get away with putting it in without the gasket/seal and silicone it in, I dont trust the waterproofing ability of any watch so it wouldnt bother me.

I've been thinking about that very thing, because there are tools for the removal and setting of crystals.
Naturally, I do not own one.
If I encounter the same situation, plan B is to buy some UV glue from Otto Frei.
I do not trust the water resistance either, especially as much of what I was told when I bought my "Ultimate" has proven false.

Got the bezel off last night and discovered - much to my dismay - that the crystal appears to sit ON TOP of the bezel, rather than being held down by it. That seems goofy as hell to me, but then I've never replaced one before. Paid DSN for one of his, I'll post here once I get it.
