crystal question..

i intend to pop my crystal out later to clean it&polish some scratches off.. but i dont have a crystal press or anything like tt.. question is, can i pop it out, clean it&just pop it in.? w/o sealing it&all but still maintain its level of water-proofing.?
its a mineral crystal btw..

Not possible to do without proper tools. No guarantee that it will be installed properly also.
