Hi guys, I just got my first replica, a Noob PAM 360 for about two weeks.

Aside from the wrong 3 dial and too dark color case, the watch itself is a beauty.

Its just that a few days ago, I bumped it with my car's door when I want to close the door.

Small paint got in the watch case, I thought it was a chip in the case, but fortunately it's the car's paint that left in the watch, and easily cleaned.

The problem is, after further inspection, I found a scratch in the crystal. I believe it's very minor, because I had 2 of my friend to inspect and they can't find it, even after I told them where the scratches is. But being an OC, I'm sure many of bros here know how I feel....once you knew its there, forever you can see it.....

I thought a sapphire crystal won't get scratched that easily, wouldn't it?

I was thinking that it maybe the AR, does any PAM expert knows where does the AR applied in this Noob PAM360?

Is it possible to repolish it, or if its the AR coating that is scratched, is it better to reapply the AR coating?

Please advise.

Here's the picture of those scratches....since its very minor, its very hard to capture it and I even have to exaggerate the detail using snapseed. Its the one near the 4 o'clock mark

Im not sure I can see it?
But the AR is only applied to the inside of the crystal so if there is a scratch it must be in the saphire.
Hard to scratch but it can be done. Do you have a car painted in diamonds?

Hi Klockis,

unfortunately no, if I had a diamond painted car, I won't be here as I can just buy any gen that I want

=D

The scratch is like 0.5 cm from the 4'0 clock marker, there are like 2 vertical line there

So if the AR was applied inside in this Noob 360, is there a way to remove the scratch from the sapphire?

Ok, i think i see it now.
Are you sure its on the outside?
Sometimes the factories dont do so good job of cleaning the insde before assamble the watch. Could be dirt on the inside?

Hi guys, thanks for the response.

I'm preety sure that the scratch is on the outside =(

I've read on this diamond paste treatment, where do you usually can get this diamond paste? Is it in the chemical store?

Do you apply the diamond paste only in the scratched area?

I think you're better off getting a new crystal rather than trying to fix this one. The 6497 movements are relatively easy to work with and if you read up on a few tutorials you'll be yanking out that movement and popping the scratched dial out in no time.

Hi Big_Raji,

I believe the scratched part is not the dial....

Is it a hard to repolish the crystal with diamond paste?

Ive bought some diamond paste of ebay for cheap. Check the grit size and work your way until its nice and smooth.

As for difficulty, I used my hands and a cloth for the diamond paste and no power tools and the job was done adequately in 10 or 15 mins.

Sorry I misspoke when I said dial. I meant crystal.

Others seem to have had good luck with diamond paste. I personally found it tough to work with the one time I tried, and ended up using a rotary tool and a few buffer pads before I got mediocre results. Perhaps I got the wrong stuff.
