Looking at buying one of the new CrPO bracelets for my Fakey 45 PO. I know it may not fit, but gotta get one and try it to find out. I don't have any experience with the bracelet so, to those that have them, is it worth $118? That is one of the TD's prices for it, the other one I contacted said they don't sell them separately at all. I am assuming the others will have it at the same price range if they even offer them at all.

Do you NEED a CrPO bracelet? UPO bracelet can be found with regularity in the M2M section.

Seems high. The upo goes for about 68. One place quoted me 98. Check a few other places. The bracelet is not much different than the upo. Not sure why the difference in price.

too much...moreover the 45mm UPO comes with very good bracelet unlike the 42mm PO
Also, the new CrPO have screws and not pin in the bracelet ---> a big tell if accuracy counts for you

Nah, not at all, just want it. I prefer how the screws look versus the pins my current one has as well as the engraving on the clasp compared to the UPO one.

Good point, I'll definitely check around more, never hurts to save some money.

Accuracy is not a big deal for me, not trying to fool anyone.

That would have to be a hell of a bracelet to spend 120 bucks on..

Gen vs Gen the CrPO bracelet is MUCH nicer then the old PO. I dont have a 45mm CrPO but from the reviews it looks very nice. AP Roo bracelets regularly go over $100, hublot bracelets go over $300... Its worth what someone will pay, expect it to be higher since it is a new release.

As for screws vs pins, holding the two in hand there are many differences but screws are correct for the new bracelet.

The CrPO bracelet will not fit your UPO. The end links and lug hole locations are slightly different.

I bought a gen rubber 8500 strap for my 2500... that didn't fit, so that's how I know. I wish it would.

R2D2, would the rubber strap from the v5 PO fit the new Cr-PO 42 models then?

Well, no....I think not. The 8500 strap wouldn't fit the 2500 so....I doubt it would be a fit. I mean you can chew , shave , smack it and get anything to fit, but it wasn't made for it. ;) The gen at least.

That's interesting, my AD told me he swapped old and new without a problem... My plan was to use my integrated on a new crPO, guess i'll wait for a while.

Well, try it then. The 8500 end link is too tall for the 2500 case. I bet it looks like shit. Lol.. No offense.

Guys, prove me wrong, I'm a big boy, I can admit when I'm wrong. Seriously, do it.

I guess I will be the Guinea Pig. I recently purchased a 2500 rubber strap with hopes that it would fit the new CrPO, guess I should have done better research.

Maybe, it will fit but sounds like wishful thinking.

Ha, I would take yours over theirs, sounds like I have another $300 omega strap purchase in my future...

on a sidenote about rubber straps for the new Cr-PO. here are some pics of gens with different combinations.

edit: to answer my own question earlier, someone on watchseekus posted this.
Somebody posted an 8500 on a 2500 dive strap and it didn't quite fit the case due to the thickness difference. So if you put an 8500 strap on a 2500 I think there will be a portion awkwardly sticking up past the lugs.

If I get a chance I will go back and find my franken thread. I had the new gen 8500 bracelet on my franken 2500 PO and it fit relatively well with no mods. To R2's point, the end links are a tad thicker so once installed, the end links sit about half a mm proud of the lugs.

UPDATE:
Check out my thread here, tones of photos...

Thanks Omega Guy. I guess it fits. There you go. But I wonder why the curved rubber I got wasn't fitting or maybe I just said, no, it will stick up and bother me.

Sorry gents, if I misled you. I was half right. :lol2:

BTW gents, a 45MM 8500 is even thicker. Difference might be more.
