Crown & Tube

Seems my Crown or Tube is stripped as the Crown will not screw down on my Planet Ocean SeaMaster Crono (45mm). Does anyone know how I can get these parts? Should I ask my Dealer? Or is there a simpler solution than having to order from China?

Have them in stock for pair of crown and tube (genuine) for PO. You need smaller 0.9mm ETA7750/Asian 7750 stem though (I believe the rep comes with 0.9mm stem too).

Oh no Taka; if I'd have known you stocked the gen tube/crown, I would have got it from you rather than letting those scoundrels at HM Customs charge me extra tax. Grr!

Interesting what you say about the stem though; is this true even if you have a gen ETA 2824 inside the PO? I'm about to do the crown/tube replacement, and have bought gen ETA stems for the 28XX, which I believe may be thicker than 0.9mm. Will it still fit, or do I HAVE to use a 7750 stem in a 2824? Will the two even go together?

Now I'm confused...

They are not compatible on the head but the thread should be of the same size.

I think the epoxy would work best. I have done this many times and all is OK.
