Sorry guys....

I know this has been discussed many times. but I'm confused over what is the correct thicker of the crown and how many "teeth" should the crown has?

The crown I'm about to change has more closer "teeth" than the the one I am going to replace. Thickness looks the same to me though. The old crown I want to replace is from my first production batch PAM063 (with swiss movement and seemingly thin crown)

Can someone help me out?

*Kruzer if you are there. It will be great to hear your comment. (By the way, I'm going to PM you regarding your crown)

Thanks everyone. Hope I can have some good info before I install the crown.

:D

Thanks

a( rep ) Panerai crown is ok if it is 1.9 - 2.0 mm thick. Palp crowns are even up to 2.1 mm thick.
which is more massive then a gen....they are ( i dare to say ) they are on average 1.8 - 2.0mm thick.

I think you should look around in the previous post and you will see that FF used to measure the thickness 1.9 mm for the gen. Recent rep has the crown thickness also 1.9-2.0. But they look thin because the proportional between crown and CG.
