Crown Placement question (luminor specific)

In looking through pictures here and on 'risti etc it seems as though crown placement (in relation to the case and spacing from the case to the crown) seems to vary greatly EVEN on the Gens.

So is there anything specifically published out there as to what's right for spacing of the crown in relation to the case?

For instance on my 005 the rep came with the crown basically right up against the case. This is the way I've seen MOST gen 005's as well but I saw one on 'risti the other day that did have a small spacing out from the case where you could slightly see the stem and it confused me a bit.

Basically I'm looking for what's the generally accepted "Correct" placement for the crown spacing on the Luminor models

What you've noticed IS the correct answer, i.e., it varies.

From what I've seen from gen pics, crowns should be somewhere between nearly touching the case to maybe 1.5mm away from the case.

There isn't any set measurement, you just have to go with what "looks right".
