you may have pull too far out/hard to set time ...
you may need to lossen the "screw for setting lever" .... push in the stem/crown and re-tighten the "screw for setting lever".
Careful not to turn more then 1 and half round as the lever can dislodge from position ...

see here for identification of the "screw for setting lever"

http://www.eta.ch/swisslab/6497/6947.html

select assemble
press > key 8 times

hope this can help you somewhat

in this case the stem is cut too short ... when you pull out to adjust time .. is there space between the crown and edge of the crown guard ?

it might help to have a look at the "screw for setting lever".. unscrew and tighten back .. remember no more than 1 and half turn ...

I dont think that is the case, the watch came form a member and has had no issues with it to date that I know of.

when spinning the crown guard it isnt spinning level, it is almost like its on a slight pivot (cant think of the correct technical term)

what a pain in the ass

(sorry for the poor video quality)

but its spinning off center, and wont push back down.

Advise?

looks like the crown is loose due to wear/tear (not securing tight enough to the stem) hmm .. there is a very small spring in the crown which helps "push" the stem to goes back winding position ...

i got a feeling the stem is short or you pull too hard and "dis-located" or pull the stem beyond the setting lever ..

The crown not being centered should not cause the stem to not able to return to winding position ... keyless can be an issue here also ...

Unless you are competent to remove the dial to have a look at the keyless work, you should have a watch smith look at it ..

Or you can try to remove the barrel bridge to expose the sliding/winding pinion to see if the problem is there ... this is a long shot .. and i doubt the problem is there

Man that sucks, the watch came from me, I've only used it a few times but never had a problem with it, kept great time also. Let me know how much the watch smith is gonna charge you and I will chip in with something.

Stand up bud,

I'll be sending you rep points once I find myself in front of a computer.

With all the drama lately, it's good to see something like this

Ditto, I'll send rep points too when off the iPad. The comment above is to be applauded.

As mentioned in the PM my friend, thank you for the very kind offer, however I can not pass some of the costs onto you, its not really fair.

The watch was as described and very well packaged - communication was polite throughout and I would 100% buy from you again, and send all the best comments your way on your next sales.

Nothing on your part, these things happen sometimes its just part of the "rep game"

You just got the watch so this could've happened to me if I would've used the watch few more times, I think we should split the cost. Anyway, PM sent, you can send me the cost anytime.

no mate, 1 and 2 is not the there lever set screw .. see pic

REMEMBER not to turn more than 1 and half turn ... if the lever is seperated from the screw from too many turns to loosen it, you may have to remove the dial to set it back ...

Many thanks for your time,
