The crown guard just popped off as I was winding the watch. It took a good 10 minutes to find the screw.
Did anyone experience this problems? Is this something I should discuss with the dealer?
It was loose a few weeks ago, and I just tightened it up. Just wanted to get your opinions. Thanks. BTW This watch is about 3 months old and its a 111H from Davidsen.

sounds like a stripped screw/threads. get a new set of screws from dsn and see how it goes. :)

Thanks guys, I'll contact Davidsen and see what he says. I had no idea that this was common.

I would def see if he would take it back cause if you get new screws chances are they will fall off again.

Funny... I've just recently lost screws out of two of my Pams... neither of mine was a DSN sourced pam.

Mine weren't stripped though... just worked loose over time, and I failed to notice until it was too late.

Short of Loc-tite blue (the "removable" stuff) anyone have ideas for *fixing* somewhat permanantly the replacement CG screws?

A screw came loose and then feel out of my DSN Ultimate Fiddy just days after I got it.

I lost the screw.

I emailed him for a replacement, but he never responded, although since then I have purchased more watches from him.

I went to a local hardware shop that sold 'sunglass repair kits' which contained a range of screws (and a screwdriver).

One of the screws was the right size, and even slightly longer than the one that was in there. I screwed it in and it fits tighter and more secure than the original.

My advice is not to go back to him for just a screw. Even if he responds it will take awhile to get it, when these screws are readily available for a few cents at hardware stores.
