Crown Guard came loose

Today I forgot to wind my PAM312 before leaving the house.

When I got to work I remembered, opened the lever and noticed that the crown guard was loose. Luckily the two screws were there.

I removed the screws and guard and used some thread lock before reinserting and tightening the screws.

Is this a common thing? perhaps there should be a list of 'Now you have your new rep, here's a list of things to do first'

Is there anything else I should be checking or doing?

Thanks

Nice. Glad you did not lose the screws. Yeah better use loctite.

Use loctite #243 on cg screws as soon as you pickup the watch from post office.

Nice suggestion. Unfortunately I always forget to bring the loctite when I pickup. And then when I do remember I forget to put it away in a cool dark place (in a parked vehicle in soaring temps isn't it).
