Crown distance mod on 177L

Busted out my Dremel with the round pointed sander ball and sanded some of the crown dish.... here is the final result!

Computer screen shows a gen 177 (has roller ball)

Close to gen spacing, but the CG doesn't snap as loudly... but having the better spacing is worth it!

I removed it bit by bit and reattach the CG to see how it compares to the gen until I got it right...

No, but this was the same spacing I was getting (pic from another thread)

Same here with the lever not "clicking" as loud. Also not as much tension as before. I may consider to sell my 005 because of this.

Ya when I did it mine mine is not snapping as tight either but its well worth it!

Just use one more flat gasket ( not an o-ring as the original gasket from the Hublotfactory pams are the flat ones! or use just ONE o-ring as they often are a little bit thicker!) and then the arm will snap in a little harder!

I've removed the crown previously and added an extra o-ring (not one thick one). So this time when doing the mod, I just removed the CG.
