hey guys,
this is my first post here on rwi, so I want to say hello first. I am a member here for some time and during this time I have learned a lot about both, rep and gen wachtes. I want to comliment you on this great forum and your way dealing with other members, even if they are noobs and ask stupid questions. ;-)
But now enough of brownnosing, let' s come to my problem
After you had infected me with the rep-virus I bought an ap royal oak 15300 witch a swiss ETA 2824-2 from pt. I was very happy with it but after some time I noticed the crown coming out though it was screwed. I haven't thought too much about it and pushed it inside again.
Today I wanted to set the time and the whole crown came out.
The watch is still running.
What do you think could be the defect, perhaps a broken winding stem?
Do you think I can fix it on my own, or should I go to a watchsmith? In that case how much would it probably cost?
Thanks, aproo
