Crown and Crown Guard

I have been trying to put together a Pam homage for a couple of months now. It is finally so close to being done. I have got a good Dial, Case, Mov't etc, to complete this project with perfection I need a good quality Crown and Crown Guard. I have come across some JF Crown and CG but that was a bit too expensive. Keep in mind i am not making the Perfect homage but just some thing that is "GOOD". Would anyone know where i can find a good quality Crown and Guard which is readily available for a reasonably good price? Please feel free to P.M me with information

Have you checked with Angus (PureTime Watches International)? I heard he had a good crown on a 111e Ultimate that he sold. His email: [email protected]

Do you have a pic of the crown that came with the case set? A pic of the crown and CG installed would be helpful. Unfortunately there aren't many options out there for better crowns at the moment. Palpatine/Pam crowns are getting very scarce and Pam's last batch was plagued by crooked threads and other QC issues.

Let's see some pics of what you've got and see how bad it really is...

Why am I skeptical about that being a genuine Panerai part?

I am very skeptical too, you can see the picture with the lever opened shows that the marking from an angle, that mine also has and thus making a very flimsy and not a smooth lever with the crown guard. PS: I will post pictures tomorrow.

Hi guys I am being offered an Angus Crown which looks to be a good quality crown, though i am not sure if it will fit my case?

I think the crown you have is as cosmetically accurate, if not more so, than the Angus crown...

I tried contact the seller but no luck...I wanted the seller to confirm that the CG was genuine / OEM.

Interesting how the seller failed to provide an image showing the top side of the pin and CG...Very sketchy!
