I believe he is alluding to the crown not facing up when screwed in. Like so:

Oh ok

Wow, this is new to me, I mean someone actually thinks this is a problem. I have 8 Rolex, reps and gens, none has a perfectly aligned crown. Am thinking about filing a complaint, or suing Rolex for negligence if this sounds cooler...

only one I had that was almost prefectly alinged was a white gold day date the crown was pretty much as it is on the pictures, not sure if this is just becuase its the president model and more effort is made onthe crown stem threads or not, but all the others rep or gens ive had have always been out!

I think it's the luck of the draw really. I have only seen one person call out their perfectly aligned cronette on a watch forum before.

Jokes aside OP. It is fixable but it's a lot of work for little reward (given that this occurs on gens too). It would require you machining the case threads to start. Which is definitely out of most people's wheelhouse. Def. Mine at least 😂

People want reps to be more perfect then reps in general anyways IMO
Not my case, just as good as, where possible and if possible that’s it

In this case was a non problem since as people more informed than be stated that also gens have the crown not always aligned

That’s it
