creating a fantasy out of my 056 Destro? What are the optio

OK, so I have a DSN 056 Destro. The watch runs perfectly and looks great...... but I've decided that the chocolate brown face just isn't me. So how's this for an idea--and I'd very much appreciate feedback. Being a lefty, I want to keep the Destro, but how about getting a charcoal face for it, or the PAM blue face. Then I'd swap the brown for the new one. Firstly: is this feasible for a guy who is handy with tools, but a neophyte. Secondly, is this something that Davidson could supply at a reasonable cost or would this have to be special ordered? Should I go to anyone else? I presume I'd end up with a fantasy, but I like the idea of a titanium destro with a charcoal (or possibly blue) face. Chime in, please.......

first - make up your mind, which dial colour you want....or see what is out there available.

just switching the dial should not be a problem......usually 2 screws to release the dial pins....

if worst comes to worst.....and you find a dial you like that does not fit....you can glue it on with 2 drops of glue.

not very professional, but if Flavour Flav can do it....it should be ok for you too !

I suppose my chief concern is that, being a destro, the face--with the small second hand-- will be opposite to the regular face and therefore not a straight swap. Secondly, Destros aren't exactly common. That presumably leaves less choice. Thus I fear Davidsen (from whom I got the watch) may not have a charcoal Destro face and would have to make one up at a price that may not be worth it. The other option is simply to sell the watch here and get something different. That would obviously be the simplest option, but I like the titanium Destro and also the thought of doing a bit of a modification to it. I'm glad you suggest that the actual operation--if I can get an appropriate face--is straightforward. Who, apart from Davidsen, might have a supply of apprpriate Destro charcoal faces? Who do you recommend I contact?
