Crack in caseback crystal

Hi, wondering if this has happened to anyone before?

I received this from River and installed it as a bezel after a couple days a crack started to develop and get larger from the sides.

Is this common or something I did wrong? It was never dropped or banged against anything.

Also is it an easy fix? Can I buy a new plexi and replace the crystal?

If so, anyone have experience in what type I need to buy.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
Bummed as I just completed this build after waiting for all the parts.

I dont think there is a model # for this.
It was built by me. Dial is from Bigwave on a River Welded Lug case with a OPB caseback as bezel.
