A man and wife are considering getting divorced. Part of the process, mandated by the courts, is that they go to counseling together, to see if the relationship might be salvaged.
Upon arriving for their first session, the cort-appointed therapist, sensing the chill between the two, decides upon a unique approach.
"Most couples, when they come see me, are at a point in their relationship where they are both both hurt, and long for their pain to be eased. Part of the cathartic process involves placing blame. But instead of pointing fingers at one another, and illustrating what your differences are, I'd like to start with the opposite approach. I'd like for you two to consider for a moment: In what ways are you alike? What are your similarities? In this manner, I hope to find some common ground where we can begin our discussion."
The couple fell silent for a moment, and glanced at each other.
The husband then looked at the therapist and replied, "Well, neither one of us sucks cock."
