Hey all,

I recently bought this Oyster Prince:

It arrived today.

And it's a lovely little watch. The only negative is that it's got a replacement, sterile crown.

From doing some reading and pic viewing online, I assumed that the correct crown would be a 5.3mm Rolex underline crown. As shown in this pic of the same model:

The sterile crown fitted to mine measures around 4.3 / 4.4mm. The crown shown in the pic above looks a little bigger, but 5.3 might be too big? Could anyone round here confirm what the correct crown is on these 34mm Tudors?

I make Billy Butcher blush.

You know not to drill out the Crown right? No laser welding required either. Hope this helps.

I promise not to use power tools on this one.

Probably.

I was thinking of making a little Rolex crown out of Fimo modelling clay, and gluing it on.

I looked on the internet, they all have 5.3mm underline crowns, the crown on yours looks tiny, Rolex never made a crown that small.

Brilliant, thanks for confirming that Trip.

Now to source one, and if the movement isn’t on fire by the time I’ve finished attempting to fit it, then my name’s not pl0pperini!
