In summary, this is the great APSF model featuring the updated black sunburst dial and A4302 movement. The dial's improved light play makes it a standout compared to previous versions.
Modifications & Enhancements (see original posting):
- Full Refinish of Case & Bracelet: Professionally refinished to soften sharp edges and enhance articulation for a smoother, more gen-like feel.
- Professional Gold Wrapping: Entire watch, including bezel bolts and bracelet screws, was electroplated inside and out for a flawless finish that matches the genuine.
- Rotor Polish & Gold Wrap: Stock APSF rotors are incorrect (yellow gold); this one has been properly plated and polished for accuracy.
- Deep Crystal Install: Enhanced crystal clarity for a sharper aesthetic.
There is a tiny imperfection above the front face’s top ridge (just left of center). In photo #1 I tried to capture this in a reflecting light. This imperfection is as I received it: you can look carefully in the original posting, as there is a small shadow at this location in the last photo.
