I always said that I would never part ways with this one as it has been through so many ups and downs with me. To be honest I still might not sell it, I'm more curious to see if there are any other parties interested in it. I have done a lot of work on this one myself, this is also the 1st watch I ever attempted any mods on. I feel that my skill level has hit the wall, I'm sure that there are plenty of well skilled modders out there that would have done a much finer job. But for me it looks and feels just right. I'm selling it at what I believe is a fair price for a true classic of the rep world. This one came from a time when there was no such thing as factory names. As stated before please don't get offended if I ultimately decide to not sell it. I'm just gong back and forth with it right now!
Mods done:
- Case reworked and lugs shaved down
- Crown guard reshaped
- Crystal replaced from mineral to sapphire (2mm)
- Original 2813 movement replaced with a VR3135 (Believe it or not the 2813 just died in Nov 24 after years of service what a work horse)
- Bracelet replaced with one with endlinks and none plated clasp (original bracelet also included)
