Hey hey.

So I went to message/email Ruby today, to get the price on a 6239 case set. Using the site message system resulted in an error message, so I emailed instead (which is what I normally do), but the email has bounced with the following info:

The message you sent to [email protected] hasn't been delivered yet due to: Recipient server unavailable or busy.
We'll let you know if we can't deliver it successfully.
Further Information
The domain rubyswatch.com is currently suspended. Try later.

Anyone got any further intel on this? Is there a top secret new email I need, to go with the recent change of site password (which I have).

Hm,

I contacted them about 2 months ago using email as well, and it went through fine, got a response within a day (although not much to my liking :ROFLMAO:).
Have you tried emailing again, and see if you get the same message ?

I did try again, and (unsurprisingly) got exactly the same bounce-back error message.

Guess I’ll leave it a couple of days and try again again.

Their is a seplling mitsake in the eemail adressse.

It shood be [email protected] , not infor@rubyswatch - cheq that yew tieped the adressse korectly.

Are you absolutely positive about that ?

The email stated on their website is [email protected], and when I emailed them using it 2 months ago I got a response. If this is not the right email, has it been coopted by someone else, in which case it was probably a good thing I decided not to order.

Did you ever make contact with ruby? I found a number off an old post on rwi and when messaged the person gave me a new what's app number. Looking to get a vintage watch and they aren't cheap so I don't want to get burned.

Ah yeah, I did get a reply, a couple of days later (I knew I was contacting the right email - as I said in my reply to Trip, I've used the same email address numerous times before). Ruby had been having some issues with the email server, no big deal.

So don't worry, you won't get burned!

so I contacted Ruby 3 days ago, a guy named Ken replied and said their domain is now https://vintagewatchpart.net/
Same password, has anyone placed an order with them recently to confirm this is legit or not?

Yeah, it looks legit and if you used the correct email to contact them all should be fine. Just for belt-and-braces sake I've also emailed to get confirmation that's the correct new site URL. It's horribly slow.
