If you used gorrilla glue you'd wreck it. It is a moisture curing polyurethane glue, almost like a mini expanding foam, definatly would make a mess of it.
Something that says "pinpoint precision" on the tube sounds a lot more suitable for what you want.

Yes, Gorilla Glue is similar to superglue, a no no on things such as an insert which you would like to remove at some point, Gorilla Glue expands to moisture to, leaving a white area. Superglue stains also due to the toxins/fume.

I've found the best for pearls is 2 part epoxy and glued from the back side of the insert. Every time I've tried gluing in a pearl from the front it seems to disappear with in a couple of weeks. Hypo cement is good for gluing in the insert.

hypo definitely not strong enough for a tiny pearl.

For the pearl itself I actually have used gorilla glue. I've spread a TINY (think, head of a pin) amount on the back side of the pearl insert until the layer is just a little tacky. Never lost a pearl or had the bezel lift. Is there something similarly strong, but better? A touch of loctite superglue gel also worked well for me. Same application process. Both only used strictly to permanently cement pearls in, and always working from the back. 10+ times and no issues.

This is correct. Hypo is nice glue with a handy applicator, but not very strong. Gorilla glue does in fact expand like miniture expanding foam. The trick is all how you apply it though. It works perfectly fine and makes a strong bond if you know what your doing. Use a untra small watch oiler and just a tiny droplet here and there, clamp and let set. I've been doing this for years without a problem. With hypo you will lose your pearls and inserts will lift off. Epoxy is great too, but again you must apply it correctly.

It will do mate.just keep it away from the crystal area as it will stop the bezel from turning( I made this mistake ) you don't need a lot maybe 5-6 small drops.if for any reason you need to remove the insert just heat it with a hair dryer and put duct tape over the face and the insert will lift off the bezel without cracking it.let us know how it goes
