Considering my 1st PAM

Hi all,

I am very new to PAMs (were only looking at rollies) until now. Thinking of getting just 1 PAM to add to my small collection.

Stuck b/w PAM 390 N Series Vs PAM 000

I have read the reference and knows that both are super reps hence its hard to make a choice (though I am more inclined towards 390 since it's probably much cheaper than 000)

Another question is whether the ASSO strap that comes with it. Is it of decent quality?

Very good choices for a PAM starting, maybe the mainly flaw of these reps is the structure of sausage lume, but PAM 390 Noob has a bit improved this issue. Anyway few people will be able to notice and detect such flaws.
IMO PAM 390 is nicer and with more personality, I'm already a bit bored with "classic" PAMs like 111, 005, 000, really nice watches but very common

Go to PAM 390 Noob

If you have limitations of budget go to PAM 390 H maker, there are some dealers offering it for less than 190 $. This is really a bargain seeing the quality

Asso rep strap is good enough, one of the best in replica. Anyway your watch will get better appearance with a custom strap. But you can get it after the purchase and if you like finally the watch

Funny I found this forum looking for a good sub (yeah I know) PAM caught my eye now I have PAM 026k, 318, 177, 113, and QC pics approved and shipped 390 from toro H factory and paided waiting on QC 111 noob V3 from sora. Crazy how a person can become addicted to a brand

Since you are after the simple and base dials (390/000) with no seconds on them, I would also choose the 390..
Personally, I think that they are somehow boring.... I'd rather go for a 111 instead

i am considering 390 H factory because of the price! I hope it's a good out of box watch as I don't intend to mod it

what about the 026k from sead? looks like a steal to me! though i totally have no idea how accurate that watch is but i did read that its a super rep as well!

Yes PAM 026 is another Super rep
I personally prefer the Noob version for better sandwich dial and better CG
Many different opinions regarding Black colour of coating. I honestly think it is good enough

I'm in the same boat. Planning my first PAM. I say the 111 or 390. But 390 over 000 I say. Since it has no second hand I assume its harder to tell its a rep.

You should get a 292 too while you're at it. There is something truly magical about a perfectly shaped ceramic case on a brown ASSO strap... :biggrin-new:

In general I always go with a noob watch vs the H factory. I own 15 rep Pam's.......one kuvarsit, four h factory and the rest Noobs. Every one of my H factory Pam's I just am not satisfied with.....less attention to details with these watches. Noob and Kuvarsit you really get a sense that they are trying to build a nice watch.....the attention to details are critical to rep watch quality and satisfaction at least in my book.
