Considering an esdee Mille Metri - feedback?

Hey gents,
I am looking at getting one of esdee's Mille Metri prototipo homage watches. I may opt for a branded dial, i have not decided on the precise configuration yet.

I'm sure some folks here have these, I would like to get some owner feedback. Which material did you go with? Are you satisfied with the quality of the watch considering the pricepoint? Did you purchase before or after River released his SS version? If after, what made you choose esdee?

What dial configuration did you go with? What strap?

Of course, I would love to see your pics!

Thanks in advance!

Paul

Waiting on an a artificially aged bronze version with a branded dial - I'll let you know when it gets to me. Very excited though.

Awesome! Is V building it for you? Did you go with one of his dials or some other option? Did you get the 2824 from him as well, or provide your own? When do you expect to receive it?

Thanks for your input, can't wait to see some pics!

Where from? Link?

I thought River only had the DLC and stainless versions

He means from esdee himself. Esdee has them in Aluminum, titanium and bronze. I decided this evening to go with an antique bronze build myself. Different dial config though.

The Esdee MM is not for the guy who casually appreciates the MM. If you are saying to yourself "Wow, that would look neat in my collection", then go with the River.

BUT, if you want a REAL underwater tool, made to identical specifications as the original, then there is no question, get the Esdee. Playtime is over.

The Esdee is a work of art AND function. You'll be lucky to own one.
