I don't understand why people open threads narrating each step they take in the purchase process over the months (I don't see the practical use) and many few complete the review. I think the logical thing to do is to open a thread once you have completed the process so as not to drive people crazy and fill the subforum with sh¡t.
My first order with Steve, a GREAT experience. First of all i've to tell that i'm noob in this business but i've read a lot before doing my first purchase. THAT WILL AVOID MANY FRUSTRATIONS.
1.- CHOICE. The first and most important step is to choose a TD. In my case, after reading about many TDs, I choose The One Watches (Steve). ALWAYS, and i repeat, ALWAYS link the TD web through this forum, NOT GOOGLE. I learned that TDs often change their address, so is very important to avoid scams to assure that the operating web is the last one. In my case it was the following.

2.- CONTACT. My first contact with Steve was by whatsapp. Same advice than in the previous point. All the data must be taken from the forum, not from google. I recommend starting with whatsapp. In my case, Steve always responded very quickly and most important of all, he sent me himself to the web to make the order and to check the watches, not by whatsapp. Ask them all the questions you need, but try to read a lot in the forum before. My experience with it has been exceptional. He even advised me on my order of what could interest me the most according to what I was proposing. Phone: +86 170 8193 4955.
If you don't want to wait some months, try to ask for stock models. Steve has a reference webpage with stocks, ask him for that.
I insist, the advice of STEVE 10/10.
My first contact was 13-04-2023.
3.- ORDER. I decided 3 watches:
- IWC - Portugués Chrono IW371606. ZF.
- IWC - Portugieser 7 days ZF
- IWC - Pilot IW328101 M+F
Steve offered me to make a deposit first (50$ for each watch) and i do it. The order process is in the web, and you tick this "shipping fee", then you send the copy to Steve (we continued in whatsapp). In my case, i did the payment with Revolut (UE). No problem with that, is the cheapest exchange for my country, and it's immmediate.
I completed the orden 18-04-2023. Steve confirmed the founds reception immediatly.
4.- QC.
- IWC 7 Days. First QC was about the 7 days. It was simply perfect. 8 photos and 2 detailed videos of the movement a function. (21-04-2023). I approved it.
- IWC Chrono. The second one was the Chrono. (23-04-2023). I noticed some mistakes in the rearside. I asked in this forum about them (complying with the rules - please read the before posting QC pics... it's not allowed). I also ask for this mistakes with a trusted horologist. Being the machine seen, I consulted Steve, he was not convinced, I asked him for more photos and the errors looked too clear.
He himself offered me a change and advised me to opt for another model, since the one that could come later could present the same errors.
I changed it for an Aquaterra 15,000 Gauss that was in stock on his web.
- IWC Pilot. Arrived 8-05-2023. Simply perfect. 8 photos and 2 detailed videos of the movement a function. I approved it.
- Omega AT: Arrived 19-05-2023. Simply perfect. 8 photos and 2 detailed videos of the movement a function. I approved it.
5.- PAYMENT. Once i noticed all the QC, i do the rest of the payment (adjusting the difference with the watch changed) with the same method and the same account number. I did the payment 23-05-2023. Steve confirmed it instantly.
6.- SENDING. Steve gave me the tracking number and a web to track it 2-06-2023. In my case, the sending was with DHL so i could track the package at any time.
7.- RECEPTION. I received them yesterday, 26-06-2023 in my country (UE). The package was bombprove. They come perfect all of them.
8.- RESULTS. Here there are some photos of the three watches. They are simply as they seem in the web and in the QC photos. As recommended in the forum, I will take them to review as soon as possible with my trusted horologist. The finishes are impressive, the level of detail in the watches is incredible.
9.- CONCLUSION. A great shopping experience. You have to be very patient, I think this is not for everyone. If you think it's like going to an official store, forget it. READ, READ AND READ before doing your first purchase, is the best advice i can do.
