Comparison question....

Hi All,

Im new to the forum after stumbling on to it while searching for a Panerai Clock!

Anyways I just wondered if people around here had a view as to the quality of say a watch from Getat vs. one from the Noob factory?

I have an auto Marina Militarire with power reserve indicator from Getat which has been running for about 2 years now but inside the crown gaurd its showing some signs of errosion, almost like a rust. This is the only problem with it other than that fit and finish etc I have been happy with.

At the moment im thinking about getting a PAN111 or PAN005 as they seem to be the better reps according to a number of posts i have read here.... I just need a sandwich dial !

If you need a sandwich dial then you want the PAM111, as the 005 as I have is a sausage dial. As for quality compared to Marina Militare's... brilliant. The reps are insanely good these days.

Get a noob or h factory 005 or 111. You'll be very happy.

originally I was looking for a gen Pan wall clock not watches... somehow a search led me to puretime as they also do a couple of the clocks... at which point that search was abandoned, and replaced by the hunt for a watch. I had been considering a sterile dial from Getat but these look quite good and the quality seems high from the reviews here.

went for the 111n Noob from puretime... hopefully it will be just as good as the Getat or better! Looking forward to it although I suspect it will be a fair few weeks away until i recieve it... pics when it lands!

That is arguably the best out of the box rep out there so I am sure you will be happy.
