Comparing Santos rep qualities from different factories

Hey guys,

I've been doing some reading on Santos reps, and I've noticed many put forth the Santos from GF as the best/closest to 1:1 rep. However, there were some that suggested other factories such as KOR, BVF, and V6/V6F, so I was wondering what the difference was between the reps from the different factories are, pros/cons, and what the consensus is for the best Santos rep factory.

I am primarily looking at the Santos de Cartier medium/large, but wouldn't mind a great Santos-Dumont rep/super rep either. Are the Santos watches listed in the NWBIG list (the Cartier Santos XL v6 and the Cartier Santos 100 V6F (Black Dial, Titanium Ultimate Swiss SW) regarding the Santos de Cartier or the Santos-Dumont?

Also, are there any nwbig/super rep of the blue dial Santos? Or are the best Santos reps the white/SS ones?

The NWBIG and "super rep" stuff is so subjective I wouldnt even bother looking at it.
All of the info youre asking for is available in the Santos thread. Each rep has its pros and cons, even between the mid-size and the large there are differences for each factory. There really isnt a definitive best, you need to look at the flaws of each and figure out which youre most comfortable with. I'm looking at finally grabbing a white 35mm soon and leaning towards 3KF or BVF personally. A lot of complaints about GF bracelet screws coming loose lately, so I personally wouldn't buy one. Only one or two of these complaints on RWI but a lot more on other sites.

Thanks for your input! In what way do you find the NWBIG list subjective? (not that I disagree, I want to hear your take)

I've done some further reading around and it seems people on reddit prefer the GF reps for the Santos medium, although they are known to often have bad crystal cuts. I thought the GF Santos bracelets were supposed to be accurate and nice. Did not know about the GF bracelet screws. Haven't the GF Santos been around for a while? why are the complaints coming in lately?

Also, aren't BVF Santos known to have crappier dials and such? Or would that not matter as much since you can just catch it in QC?
