Compare Pics Rep - Gen - Strap with PVD _Buckle BR01 92

AS promised:

Last weekend i was at a AD of BR in Milano, Italy

I put off my Rep BR and went inside and ask the very friendly Dealer named Gabriele for Strap and Buckle in PVD:

first he shows me a velcro, than i ask for PVD Buckle the 24 one which is on the rubberstraps. i told him its for a custom Strap that i want to build on my own.

I ask him for the price and yes i bought both the Velcro-Strap and the PVD Buckle...ask me not for the Price but i was so exited...

He took off the buckle by strapping a watch from his showwindow... `No problemo´

My friends waited outside the shop and after a few steps beside the store i showed my purchase, to compare my rep with the Gen PVD.
In this seconds Gabriele walks near us, he wished us a nice day and went on.... i dont know if he saw my rep or not, but i think in Italy reps are not welcome..

I bought a screwdriver (a not so good one) to put on the new velcro but i stripped the tiny screws, so i cant put it on. But i take the following Pics to compare

the Rep stainless Steal one (on the left) and the Gen on the right

but first the Store and the Show window

by the way so many AD in Milano all Brands you can find there: Eldorado for Watchaddicted (will show pics of gen in a separate thread)

COMPARE:

Yes there are some differences especially the caseback but the top and the sides are 1:1
the repstrap is not as dark as the blueish dark gen, has a little different approaches(?) and the length of the holder is diffrent, the engraving is not as crisp and a little more bigger on a little other positions but what should i say you can see it on pics

Do you think the feeling of the gen strap is much better then the rep?
Is it worth the money you paid?

I wanted a Buckle with only BR engraved and thats a little harder to find

and the Price was not sooooo extreme higher than from high bidding auctions

but yes it feels a little different to know its gen
and the next difference after wearing the velcro for now two days there s no scratching of the nylon the edges are still sharp
the rep one starts immeadiatly to show that it s getting worn

so theres seems to be a little quality difference

just my 2 cents
