wow where you even come across this ? asks the person who hasn't been on facebook or instagram in 10yrs.
but nonetheless, there are definitely some people with insane money, the kind we can't fathom.
it's believable though. like collecting anything when the means are there, hard to reign it in

Found a pic of his collection on paneraicentral insta, which is the only insta account I follow until I've found this guy.

Yes, as the singer Rod Steward was singing and Sunny Crocket from Miami Vice was quoting in a show..., some guys have all the luck :)

Well there's also a saying "He's got more money than sense." We all would like to be this guy but then even if I had all the money in the world, I'd still buy reps, use the money saved for something else that can't be experienced repped, like a vacation though I'm sure (or at least hope) he's got a ton of great experiences. But that's just me. :)

I’m sure this guy has enough money for watches and “something else” - vacations, etc.

if money is no object you want best of everything meaning reps wouldn’t be in the pictures especially if you are into watches.

Ya know, if money was no object, I'd still not buy a single RM, let alone a whole box of them. I just see no value, can't justify the price, historically, artistically, technically.
I think its made for people like him, where everything else is just too cheap. Yeah, I had to get it out of my chest.

If someone has "all the money in the world" they tend to stop thinking of money the same way. And that's just it, this dude (and I think in general when you get to collecting watches on this level) it's not a question of "how can I spend this money in the best way possible way?".

These are people who spend $35,000 a night for a hotel room 200 nights a year. Or $25,000 for a first class plane ticket. I'm sure if you're spending that kind of money, it's not a concern at all. I'm willing to bet this person probably wastes more money in 1 day than most people earn in 10 years. And by "waste" I mean spends it on things that most of us would consider unnecessary. Like a $35,000 a night hotel room (when the $20,000 a night hotel room would be more than adequate).

Well adequacy depends on one's needs/tastes and capacity. Like Hazing said, when you got that kind of dough, all reason goes out the window. That's why I love Bill Gates, richest guy in the world and he wears a cheap Casio and lines up for food like everybody else (well probably not all the time but the fact that he even does it is admirable). I'm pretty chuffed with a $149 room, though I'd probably add another $150 for room service food and I'm a happy guy. :D

Sorry but anybody who pays $35000 a night for somewhere to rest his head and wash his balls is obviously a major cunt .

While almost everything looks gen, isn't that 961 a rep? I only ask because there's what 33 of them in the world, and the indices (15-30-45) look very white rather than gunmetal. Buying a rep of the 961 myself, I noticed that's one of the tells vs. the gen. Then again, he has that original box, so what do I know. One can only dream of his collection though!

Well, he is living his dream. There is nothing wrong about it. Nobody of us knows if he is donating some of his wealth and what he is doing for his living. Also nobody of us just can imagine being this wealthy. It's another world. I would assume for him is spending 500.000 USD on a watch as for us spending 500 USD on a rep.

I just enjoy looking at his insta page and seeing these watches in real life.

Apparently he has not reached the first level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs ( https://bit.ly/35fUjEB , interesting read ), which Bill Gates certainly has.
