Hi all,
About 6 months ago I got a H-factory Pam 111N and I am pretty happy with it although I have subsequently discovered through research that the general consensus is that the Noobs are better.
There is one thing about it that I am not so keen on, and through my searching the forums here and elsewhere it seems that it is not necessarily a replication fault: the coke bottle / lens effect in the crystal at extreme angles. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but my searching suggests that at least some gens exhibit the same effect and adds to the character and represents the history of the watch (the Frogmen/first diving watch/made by Rolex etc.).
While these are all very valid points, I couldn't help wonder if there are PAMs out there (Gen or rep) that lack the said coke bottle crystal effect? If there is a mixture of crystals out there in the different models, is it possible to discern which is a coke bottle and which isn't from the excellent PAM model guide?
Sorry for being such a typical PAM newb!
