I have a full box of Cohiba Esplendidos cigars + a few extras, 29 cigars in total. These have got to be around 20 years old now and have been properly stored in my humidor. I am calling these cigars replicas because I got these myself when I was in Cuba years ago and they were from one of those guys that gets his cigars "out the back door of the factory" so they were not the going rate from a reputable cigar shop. I knew this and it's what I wanted because they were to be used as a nice visual filler in my humidor along with the real cigars I also bought and already had, much like you'd mix reps with your gens in your watchbox and enjoy the sight. But now my humidor is completely full of gen cigars and I don't have room in it to store these anymore so I figure I would see if anyone here wants them.
The box is an original Cohiba box with seal and the visual construction of the cigars is very good: size, proportion, wrapper, end cap, rings, etc are all spot on. I have had these next to gen Cohiba Esplendidos that I've smoked and they certainly do look the part. The rings are an older style as newer rings these days have some security features that they did not have in play back when I got these.
They are smokable, but if you have enjoyed a good cigar or two in your life then I would advise against smoking these as they are not up to Cohiba's quality control standards for whatever tobacco was used to make them. That said I have smoked a few over the years when I was drinking much like you'd switch to the cheaper alcohol as the night goes on, and I have given some to others to smoke here and there like when friends would come over as there was no way I was giving them my good cigars. So these make a great humidor filler, are wonderful as a prop for photos, and are great to pawn off on friends.
I'm asking $100 via PP f&f or EMT shipped in Canada as that is where they are located. I will ship workdwide if the buyer assumes all customs risk but may have to check on shipping rated depending on your country. I don't think these would make it into USA as they are labeled as Cuban so they will likely get seized by US customs.
Please PM me if interested.
