Clockwise vs Counterclockwise minute hand rotation using crown?

Alright, Im a bit of a new guy here, but not new to watches at all.

Im definitely new to the rep game, and im thus far impressed with the two reps I have: ZZF Sub and noob v9 GMT II.

As far as gen Rolexes, I own a non-ceramic GMT II Coke 16710 and 40mm Yachtmaster 116622.

I apologize if the answer to this is buried somewhere on this forum, but I couldn't find the answer in all the obvious sections and stickies. In fact, I think I might not even be using the correct terminology for the question I'm asking:

On both my rep watches, when i use the crown to adjust the minute hand, by turning the crown "up", the minute hands turn counter-clockwise. That seemed different compared to my gens.. i tried it out, and sure enough, on my gens, the minute hands definitely spin clockwise when turning the crown "up".

Is this an inaccuracy in all rep movements out there? Is there a rep GMT II or Sub watch out there that mimics this functionality in the gens?

Again, I apologize profusely if have failed to find this answer hiding in plain sight on this forum.

The Rolex reps with an A2836 movement will behave opposite of gen. There are reps with replica 3135 movements, SH3135 being one of the more reliable of them (although a few factories have released V2 or something like that). The 3135 reps will behave like gen.
Research the latest, most reliable 3135 rep then contact any of the TD’s to get one.

Thanks!

hanski is correct. This USED TO BE one of the tells of a rep: turning the crown clockwise results in the hands turning counter clockwise. That was true THEN because reps used A2813/2424/2836 movements. This “tell” was solved with the introduction of the SA3135, SH3135, and the VR3135. AND the superclone from Noob for their Daytonas: 4130!

Could you tell me which GMT movement behaves like gen?

And I qualified with USED TO BE (still IS if the uses 2813/2824/2836) in liue of Rolex 3135 clones. HOWEVER, the new Rolex movement —- the 3235 —- behaves exactly as the clones! So, this rule is no longer a blanket truth. Example of reps that are not “threatened” by the crown and hands movement test is ARF’s SD43 with a 2824 movement. And other newer 6-digit Rolexes that house the new 3235.

Don't mean to offend anyone or ruffle feathers, but that is an incorrect statement. I own a gen 126622 40 Yachtmaster with the 3235 movement. The minute hand does indeed turn clockwise when you turn the crown in the same (upwards) direction. Just to be certain, I just double checked this immediately before I wrote this reply.
