Hi guys,

I just received my Clean Factory Daytona 116500LN with their v3 of their movement and replica.

Everything works and looks great apart from one thing that I saw: The 6 O'clock Rolex crown etching looks extremely faint - Even to a point that I can't see it in a naked eye and only see it very very faintly once a flashlight is being lighted on a certain angle. This differs of course from previous replicas and photos I've seen where this etching can be seen quite easily.

Does anyone know if this is a normal case? I contact my TD about this and they assured me that it is normal and just as the real deal.

Owning a real 116520 and a 116515 this is accurate cause I didn't even know it was there until my AD told me about a year ago.

Prior to that I didn't even know it existed so it is meant to be very feint

The original idea from Rolex was to have a subtle but hard to replicate (I know) and difficult to see trait that would show authenticity of the genuine article. The original rep LECs were not convincing but they have improved a lot since then. As others have noted, it is not meant to be easily visible.
