Hi,
Which GMT-Master II 126710 BLNR Blue/Black (Batman) is considered the best as of 21-02-2024?

I know that the consensus is that the Clean factory produced the best GMTs, correct me if I'm wrong.
I also know that Clean has 3 versions for their Pepsi (red/blue) and that the v2 has some issues with the bezel.

But I cant see any mentions of different versions for the Batman

I just ordered the GMT below and would like to know if it's considered the best rep currently?

Clean has variations of the Batman and people should make sure of which one they’re buying. The one with the dd3285 is their best Batman in my opinion. They also have ones with 3186 and a 2386 movements in them. I think they had some with 3285 movements before they got the Dandong 3285 movement but I’m not certain.

If it is the best for you, it is "the best".

There is no "best" rep.

Thanks for reply, I assume the DD in DD3285 stands for Dan Dong (which btw is also specified as the movement on the TD website).

I generally agree with the sentiment, but when I base my purchase on three 800x600 images of a watch 0.5 meter away from the camera I want to make sure I order something I will be satisfied with...

Well average people on the streets wont come closer lol.
There is a complete encyclopädia including CTimes makro shots and comparisons to various models including gen and tons and tons of knowledge and discussions abpout those models.
but NO ONE can take off your personal preferences or choose for you whats most important to you on a replica, or with flaws you can live with.
Good luck with finding the perfect watch for you :)

As you just said "If it is the best for you, it is the best."

I don't care about people on the street, I want something I myself am happy with.
I've gone through all CTimes images which are great, I found one about the Pepsi but not one for Batman. So all the research I've done has led me to the Clean DD3285 as the best rep. But I'm not 100% and hence this thread.

What reps do you already own ?

Or is this first purchase ?

I seriously doubt you will be disappointed with your purchase, averages (internet post wise) say you certainly shouldn't be ;)

In Your Head
First off the GMT 126710 BLNR with jubilee bracelet is known as the Batgirl, the Batman has the oyster bracelet.

Since you did your research and probably read that 99% of the people who own the latest GMT DD3285 from CF say it's the best out there. You will be very satisfied if or when you pull the trigger and purchase the watch.

As @derjenigewelcher mentioned above, it's you that needs to make the decision and be satisfied with said decision. It will be you spending the money and wearing the watch.

None, this is my first purchase. It's seem like you're right, judging by how first time buyers say after they've received the watch.

At first when I got the QC it was just 3 poorly taken pictures with 800x600px res.

So I asked the TD for:
  • higher res images from certain angles to look for these flaws:
    • date magnifying glass slightly tilted - because I read here that some guy had that issue, making it useless.
    • rehault is not aligned with the dial - also something I've seen mentioned here
  • timegrapher measurements - just to be extra sure it runs okay based on this post
  • I also asked if the bezel had any play (read here that Clean factory has some issues with their bezels on GMT) - I would be find with 1-2 mm play.
  • Asked about the sound of the bezel - also something I've seen being mentioned that Clean factory struggles with.
  • Asked if the movement made any unusual sounds - someone here had their watch make sounds.
I know that most of these might be fixable if you go to a shop, but if possible I rather avoid it.
Also, I'm not sure if most of these issues are even for the Clean factory.

The TD was very kind and got back with all the requested images in higher res, timegrapger (+8s/d, 285, 0.1ms, 28800) and a video of him turning the bezel and shaking the watch to make sure the movement didn't make any weird sounds.

Everything looked great and I approved it!

Some things I wanted to tell you to avoid unhappyness when the watch arrives

- its a replica......no matter what you pay so:

- Back in the Days QC pix werent even happening.

- rehaut tolerances are there. not even gens are perfect sometimes.
- bezels have play. even on gens. its a MECHANICAL WATCH. sometimes more, sometimes less
- if "someone here hears their watch make sounds" why do you give a fuck? the other 240k members maybe dont.
by the way I can tell you, a mechanica lwatch MAKES sounds. its called beat. you hear it when you hold in near your ear. also e 50k gen watch does that.
- the TD shakes the watch? great, but i can tell you: this is the most dumb thing you can do to a finemechanic device.
- timegrapher is always good, but you should learn how to read it and what it means. it means basicly that the watch works, sure. but after beeing tossed around in shipping everything can happen with these asia movements. specially with this movement, keyless works can happen to slip away , rotor skrew can break, movement holder skrew can be lose and flip in the balance wheel however.

I really wish you dont have any of this problems, but I also would like to tell you that you maybe expect to much.
Its a asia watch copy that looks like a Rolex, costs 1/20 of it. Dont be to picky, just wear it and have fun;)

If you are seeking top QC 4k pictures, you may consider Theonewatches or Ctime for this.

Enough from me now, hope I couls give some inputs for future watches you buy:)

I'm pretty much in the same boat, 1st time buyer and reading so many different threads with so much information. I knew I wanted the GMT Master II and wanted to get the best version based off the majority satisfied owners here and came to the same conclusion as you .

Currently working with TD waiting on the warranty card to be printed before it's being shipped out in the next few days

I think he means he's having a fake warranty card printed with his model and serial.
