Clean Factory Oysterflex Quality

Hey all, I was hoping someone could give me some feedback regarding the quality of the oysterflex from clean factory. I have a VSF Yachtmaster 42 on Oysterflex which is very well done and was wondering if it was similar quality?

Also, would the VSF YM42 Oysterflex fit on a Clean Factory Daytona Panda with the correct end links which can be bought from TDs?

I think I tried that once before I sold my YM42, but that has a different-size lug. Daytona has a 20mm lug and that 42mm YM has a 21mm lug so it won't fit.

thanks for the feedback! I totally forgot YM42 is 21mm so that won't work. Did you have any thoughts on the quality of the CF Oysterflex? Its > 100 USD from TDs and I could possibly get a Rubber B or Everest Band for not much more.

Personally, I have never been a fan of Rubber B or Everest, but that is subjective to user preference. I like the Clean bands as long as you know the letter sizing that works best for you. The new one are more expensive as its close to the gen with metal inside.

If you're just getting the bands, I wouldn't suggest them.

The oysterflex from Clean Factory was okay for me. I just got a 116519LN from them and because I bought the wrong size, I bought some new oysterflex bands from AliExpress. I was about to pay $88 + shipping from Theonewatches for ONE band, but I'm so glad I didn't. The ones from AliExpress, which was around $100 for 2, was much better quality than the OEM Clean Factory ones.

The ones from AliExpress, which was around $100 for 2, was much better quality than the OEM Clean Factory ones.

so you like these more the Clean Factory ones? What was the difference?

The color and texture are slightly different. The aliexpress one is darker and visually it looks grainer. The feel is similar though. Both feel smooth.

I just got the cheaper version too from the same similar and it seems to be the same quality as the more expensive one.

Ill answer my own question. the quality of the rubber of the clean OF is great.

feel - the gen is softer, more compliant

visually - its difficult to tell them apart. engravings on the gen are not as deep.
